Mask
Architectural-scale prosthetic installation.
Mask is a conceptual architectural installation that extends a modernist museum into the narrow space between its facade and a neighboring nineteenth-century building. Using a figural language that reads as a mask or prosthetic, the design emphasizes contrast with the museum’s minimalism while bridging the gap between the two structures. The result is a visual dialogue between contemporary and historical forms, inviting viewers to reflect on the evolving character of the site.
